Become a member of Jiu Jitsu International

For Individual Applications

To become a member of Jiu Jitsu International as an individual, you need to apply to your respective National Jiu Jitsu body. We're currently working with several countries and will have official entities organized as early as January 2010.

The USA Jiu Jitsu organization is the first national body to accept individual applications and is receiving international applications while other countries work on their official websites.

Recognized JJI entities will be listed on this site and will display the JJI badge. If in doubt of an entity veracity, contact us before becoming a member.

How To Enlist your Country For A National Body

If you want to volunteer to organize your country’s national governing body of Jiu-Jitsu please forward the information below to our executive director.

Include on your email application the best time to call and your conversation ability in English.

If not very good please let us know your native language or a second conversational language and we’ll try to arrange for an appropriate translator.

The JJI Executive Director will review each application and respond within a week or two.

You’ll have a phone or e-mail interview before final review, decision, and notification.

If approved you’ll need to:
